Event headshot pricing depends on the scope of the event, including duration, location, estimated attendance, delivery needs, and whether one or multiple stations are needed.

Enhance the Event Experience
Some events need a simple, efficient headshot station. Others need a more customized experience. Depending on the event, the following options may be available.
Hair and Makeup Touch-Up Station
An optional on-site touch-up station can be added to help attendees look camera-ready before their headshot. This is a light event-day service designed to support the flow of the station with quick refinements rather than full hair and makeup styling.
Sponsor or company branding integration
For events with sponsors or branded activations, the headshot experience can be planned so it feels aligned with the larger event presence while still delivering professional portrait experience for attendees.
Event coverage photography
For events that need more than portraits, event coverage can be added to the headshot session. This includes speakers, panels, branded moments, and key event details, photographed with the same editorial standard as the headshots. Available as an add-on during or adjacent to the headshot booking, scoped to the event.
Optional individual image retouching
Light retouching is included. Additional retouching is available by individual request for $35 per image.

Q1. Do you photograph at the San Diego Convention Center?
Yes. The San Diego Convention Center is a natural fit for the portable studio — large venues give the full setup room to operate efficiently. Lighting, backdrop, and tethered monitor can be positioned in lobbies, breakout rooms, registration areas, or dedicated session spaces depending on your event layout. The studio is assembled before the event starts and packed up after it ends, both planned around your schedule so event programming is never interrupted.
Q2. Is this the same as a photo booth?
No. This is a professional, on-site headshot experience designed for business use. While some people may call it an event headshot booth or headshot station, the experience is very different from a novelty photo booth. Each attendee is photographed with professional lighting, guided direction, and polished portraits designed for LinkedIn, company websites, speaking engagements, and professional profiles.
Q3. What kinds of events do you provide headshots for?
Conferences, conventions, trade shows, recruiting events, networking events, company meetings, leadership summits, association events, and other business gatherings.
Q4. How much space do you need?
The minimum footprint is about 10 × 20 feet — enough room for a backdrop, lighting, the camera station, and a short queue area. Tighter spaces can sometimes work; a quick call before the event helps scope the right setup for your venue.
Q5. Can you photograph a large number of attendees?
Yes. Each attendee receives 5 to 8 minutes of directed attention — enough time to get them settled, find their best angle, and produce a portrait they’ll actually use. Events are scoped in advance so the schedule, the flow, and the attendee volume are planned around the time available on-site.
Q6. Do attendees get posing guidance?
Yes. Each person is guided so the final image feels natural, confident, and professional.
Q7. How are the images delivered?
Delivery depends on the event plan. The process is designed to stay organized and easy for both organizers and attendees.
Q8. Can this be branded for a sponsor or company?
In many cases, yes. If branding or sponsor alignment is part of the event, that can be discussed during planning.
Q9. Do you also provide event photography?
My primary service is the on-site headshot experience described on this page. For select clients, event coverage photography — speakers, panels, branded moments — can be added to the headshot session as a scoped add-on. Ask during your consultation and we can scope it together.
Q10. How far in advance should we book?
Earlier is always better, especially for conventions, larger events, and busy seasons. Booking in advance helps secure the date and allows time to plan the setup properly.
Q11. Do you work outside San Diego?
Yes, depending on the event location and scope. Travel can be discussed during the inquiry process.
